A Queens native, John is a natural born hustler. He originally started cutting hair in college to earn extra cash on the side and eventually fell in love with the craft. He used this experience to secure an apprenticeship working under a master barber in Astoria and quickly secured his NYS barbering license from the American Barber Institute. Now with 15 years of experience under his belt, John’s favorite part of the craft is still seeing the clients reaction to a fresh new look. His favorite types of haircuts to do are skin fades and designs. When he's not busy styling hair, you can catch John DJing at various night clubs across the city or staying updated on the latest trends in HypeBeast culture.
